Which internal hard drive?

Hi everyone

So I am a complete computer novice, and I need a little bit of help in choosing a new internal hard drive for my laptop. The hard drive that came with the laptop is about 150GB but is now full, so I need something bigger. I have been doing a little bit of research and have come across a couple of hard drives, but they all seem to have very mixed reviews. A lot of customers have had the drives fail on them etc.
Can anyone recommend a decent hard drive that is fast, and at least 500GB and under $200? I have no idea about compatibilities with different computers. I have a Toshiba with Windows- I don't know if that is important!

The biggest thing you left out is whether the laptop has an IDE hard drive or a SATA hard drive. If you are unsure, give us the model number of the laptop and we'll help you.

Oh sorry, it's a Toshiba satellite A105. I don't have any idea which of those it has!

Looks like you need a SATA hard drive. Any one of these will do:

You're also going to want one of these to help you clone the drive over:

Once you get the drive you can download the cloning utility off the manufacturers support website.
