I was reading a guide on here and it said AMD was the best for gaming, but when I asked people here and some friends that have gaming computers they said ATI and nVidia. WTF GUYS AMD!? my laptop is AMD and it can't even play world of warcraft smooth I have a 256mb of video memory too..

You laptop has an AMD CPU, not an AMD video card. The processor on the video card, or GPU, is what will be either ATI or Nvidia. CPU's and GPU's are two different entities.

well AMD did combine with ATI. thats why when you type in www.ati.com you get AMD homepage.

best graphic card brand for gaming is.... uhh depends what model and peoples opinion. edit: "back when no words on geforce 8800 series. geforce 8800 is king as of now so that means nvidia is best for gaming."

its true. the c2d line is currently the best processors out in the market. as for graphics cards go. nvidia currently hold the title for the best graphics cards out with the 8800gtx
