Which is better of these 2

My brother is looking to buy a new PC, he's not wanting to spend alot, just a new tower... here are the 2 he is deciding on

both are the same price..... he is mostly using his computer for internet browsing, maybe watching some video, and basic office stuff.... no gaming.
what would be better for him?

I would also recommend the Compaq with the AMD Proc. I love AMD. They are fast and stable and respond well to over clocking.
 
The 2nd one would be definitely better. saw the same config (almost the same) at a friend's place. It was good.

I also like the AMD one better, however I was somewhat hesitant because
I've heard to avoid Compaq, never used one myself, but friend of mine who deals with
computers says they seem to cause more problems (the laptops he deals with). Maybe the desktop Compaq's are not bad then? Thanks
