Which is better, the Phenom or the Core 2?

Ignore the Phenom and go with the Phenom II. Better/on par with the Core2Quad. Phenom II's are also better for the future. The Core 2 is history, nothing new for that.
 
Core 2 Duo processors are overpriced. Almost all of the Phenom II processors beat them all in processing power and they cost less.

Might I ask were you talking about the Core 2 Duo processors or Core 2 Quad processors?

either :) i wanna know if the phenom processors are worth buying over the 64 x2 or others
 
Yes, the phenom 2's are worth upgrading over the athlon x2, heck the phenom would would be an upgrade from that, its just i wouldn't upgrade to those, now.

Phenom 1= 65nm, Not great overclocker
Phenom II= 45nm, Much better architecture, faster clock for clock
Phenom III= You have anybody inside amd or something?:P I dont even know a general release date for phenom III let alone what features it will have.
