Which is better?

Hello everyone, i'm new here and have a question.

i've decided to buy a 2nd hand pc because my current one is very slow (can't even play 720p HD properly) and because they're cheap. :P

I've got 2 choices and i want to get the better/faster one to also play games on, i'm not saying i want to play Battlefield 3 on max settings but just some older games, i know these machines won't do very well with never games.

Number 1:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz
GPU: Asus 1 GB HD 5450
RAM: 2GB
HDD: 120GB

Not sure what kind of RAM it has because the seller hasn't specified, i'd upgrade to 4GB anyway.

Number 2:

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5700 (some kind of notebook GPU?)
RAM: 4GB (again, no specifics)
Motherboard: ABIT IP35 PRO
HDD: 465 GB

I'm hoping you guys can help me out, looking for a quick answer :)
Thanks in advance!

Are these both laptops ? If you want to play games then you need two things, Lots of ram/memory and A good video card...What are the makes and models of these two?
you should look into a Desktop, you will get higher ratings and more able to play games..

No, they're desktops, as i said i'm not looking for anything crazy, i'm just looking for an upgrade from the integrated graphics and the intel Atom D425 processor, my current pc was bought 2 years ago as new but it was really cheap and has the pecs of a small netbook :S.
So again, i'm looking for something that can play older games such as WoW, Battlefield 2 and the previous ones, just really old games.
So my question was, which is the better one?

EDIT------------

No idea of the makes and models, problably something local like Ordi or ML (only have these in my country)

Number 2 is better, but both are old and outdated. And I think the graphics card in number 2 is either a 5750 or a 5770 - both of which are pretty weak these days.

Unless they're cheap, don't bother and build something new. The Q6600 is outrun by a sub £100 Core i3 for heaven's sake. :P

I was thinking the same on the graphics card, even asked the owner about it, he was still saying it's a 5700 :S and the PC is cheap, my budget is small and i just want something that will play OLD games, it is good enough for me and i'm happy with that, gonna go pick the 2nd one up tomorrow, thank you guys for the help!
