I cant decide which is better. The intel is Dual Core, but the graphics card isnt the best, while the AMD is single core, but has a kicking graphics card.

Any input would be great,
thanks

Well the first one is hands down better for gaming, right now. its single threaded and has a better gpu.

the second is gonna be better for multitasking and maybe in a little while, better for gaming and dual core apps.

so whatever you plan on doing more of.

Well mostly it will be used for things like graphics design, and web surfing, with every once and awhile gaming. its going to be something like 70% Design/web surfing, 30% Gaming.

I want a system that will be abnle to do this and be better in the long run. The dual core is also a bit cheaper

yeah the processor on the first one is good and so is the gpu that is the better one. even with the core duo, i think that i would prefer the amd processor. this is price not taken into account

This first one is $1399 Canadian (before taxes) and the second one is about $150 cheaper
I'd still go with the first one since it's not integrated graphics and a faster processor. What models are these (so all of us will know)? The core duo is good, but the previous reasons are why I'd go with the first one.
