which is better, a intel pentium 4 at 2.0 GHz, or an intel celeron D at 2.8 GHz. if the intel penium 4 is better, if you could convert the celeron D into a pentium 4 speed, what would it be?

It really depends on the tasks. If your just doing basic things, I would go with the Celeron D 2.8Ghz.

what are you going to be doing with it. if its for gaming then get the pentium 4 if not and you are just doing internet word and excel just get the celeron D.

i'm not using it for serious gaming... i use the internet alot more that i play games...

The Pentium 4 will work fine with Internet as well.
