The Radeon X1600 Pro, or the 7800 GT. Ive found both for around the same price, and does the 7800 GT come in AGP? Also is neweggs prices in U.S.?

Newegg only ships to the United States, and there prices are in USD.

After looking at benchmark scores (as I couldn't find a direct comparison, the 7800GT seems to be just a *tad* "better" all-around. You really can't go wrong with eaither card, they are very closely matched. It comes down to preference, like drivers, ease of use, etc. Alot of people like nVidia interface, ATi's are usually a cluster.

EDIT: Oh my, seems to have made a mistake. I was looking at the "turbo", not jsut the "pro" model. Performance will be more with this card, sesm to be overclocked by the manufacturer. HIS Overclocked Radeon X1600 Pro Turbo Review | Hardware Secrets

However, after the latest nVidia driver update, you get a nice little balloon that pops up every time you start Windows telling you that SLI is disabled because you don't have multiple video cards... grr, very annoying.

Not big enough of a deal to make a video card decision on, though.

Actually I think the 7800 GS is the only AGP, and not the 7800 GT. GRRR. What about the 7800 GS compared to the X1600 Pro. I need a PCI E slot. Can you change your slot without buying a new PC?

You need a new motherboard. If you can get a motherboard that supports all your current hardware (I'm guessing you can, unless your PC is very old) then that's all you have to swap.
