Which is better

thinking of getting a new video card...to replace mine and get a good 256mb card

You wont notice a dufference with either, except that the 7300 will be worse.

It's not the 6800, it's the 6800XT, hacked down pipelines and lower clocks speed, not a very good card.

I'd say go with atleast a 7800GT if you want to see any difference if you have PCI-E

Very true, it's similar to ATI's x300 and x1300.
