Anyone have an opinion as to which of these 3 cards is the best?

1. Dual 512MB nVidia GeForce 7900 GTX

2. Dual 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 Dual-GPU Graphics Cards, Quad SLI

3. Dual 512MB ATI Radeon X1950 XTX CrossFire

:)

Ati

haha, thanks man. What's weird is the NVidia adds $200
in the build, and the ATI adds $150. Why is the NVidia more
expensive if it's not as good/fast ?
(This refers to a Dell build of XPS 700)

Dual 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 Dual-GPU Graphics Cards, Quad SLI [add $200 or $6/month1]

Dual 512MB ATI Radeon X1950 XTX CrossFire [add $150 or $5/month1]
May delay your XPS 700 Special Edition Formula Red ship date

Get the third one, it will kick arse.

I agree, but any of these cards in SLI is an overkill in any game there is,

so basicly what I'm trying to say is save up your money and get the 7900GTX in SLI or if you have loads of cash, quad SLI (7950GX2) is the way to go.

COMPARE

true... but with HDR on... you dont really notice wiether AA is on or not (or at least i dont) i would go for the 2 7900GTX's if you absolutely want 2 cards. Im not too much a Fan of the 7950GT2X's... since theyr fans tend to be quite noisy,..the 7900GTX's tough have a really nice cooler on them :)

The second one will outperform in the majority of games and benchmarks, but I would still go with the third one.

what system are u gonna be running it in...maybe i missed that. if its a conroe do the new mobos support crossfire with the conroes. just wondering. havent seen anyone who has that yet. maybe im just not looking at the right people lol

system

these were options for a build of an XPS 700 on dell's site....
i think the mobo supports it or else they wouldnt offer it? :)
(i hope...)
