Yep, PCI-E 2.0 is backwards compatible with 1.1. How old is your motherboard? Just to make sure it isn't PCI-E 1.0 or PCI-E 1.0a.

lol, yeah. Alienware case is hot and awesome. Not only because of that reason. I bought this brand new computer cheaper from eBay and it cost $1,000 include 1 year warranty which is good for me. This seller lives that where I live, so I went to pick it up without paying shipping.
