Hi,

Is the HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1600 Pro ICEQ 512MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (AGP)
a good card?

Its pretty similair to the Sapphire X1600 Pro 512MB DDR2 AVIVO TV-Out/DVI (AGP) I think, whats the difference and which is the better card?

Thanks!

A X800GTO would be a better choice, since the X1600 Pro is between the 6600 and 6600GT in performance.

Heres the specs between the three that I am considering:

Which one is the best, I really need help deciding which graphics card to buy!

Thanks.

The X1600 Pro has a stock memory clock of 390MHz (780MHz DDR) while the X800GTO has 490 (980MHz DDR). And you should take a look at this.

they're the same card, maybe different clocks. at the same clocks their performance would be identical.
the x800gto is also a good choice. you won't see enough of a difference to change your mind... i'd just go with whatever's cheaper.

The two that you compared there are the 256MB I'm after a 512MB.

What about the HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1600 Pro I haven't seen anyone mention that and it looks pretty good!

Oh right, Which of the two is the newer becasue I don't want it to go out of date to quickly?
The x1600PRO is newer, but newer doesn't always mean better.

Ok, So overall your all saying that I should buy the X800GTO?
Yes, the x800GTO performs much better in games and will last you longer then the x1600PRO would.
