Hi, i'm conducting a poll to know which brand is more likable? (this is for my assignment n personal use, thx^^)

Dells are the better laptops, never had an issue with a Dell before, and have used them as my primary laptops since 2006. Also, many businesses use Dell. And this was typed on a Dell Vostro 1000 laptop

Dell over HP all day every day. Dell are much more reliable.

Hp use to be a good company at one time but in the last two years they have been building some crap. I have been using Dell's for five years now and I won't use anything else. I would recommend you look at a Dell studio though, better quality in appereance and hardware and the price is only slighty higher.

On the otherside of things Dell computers work very well with windows 7, all working drivers to make ubuntu run flawless, and with very little work supports OSX. Just thought you should know.

HP/Compaq has had terrible reliability issues for a couple of years.

Dell are generally more helpful, of similar spec for your price, and usually break less than compaq/HP ;L

I won't buy HP anymore, because their support doesn't work very well. At least after warranty

I like the results! I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 which has been running for 5 years, problem free. And, all the HP products in my house break. So... GO DELL!!! haha
