Which is which?

I have a Asus P4B-LX mobo and below are the CPU that it supports. But i don't know which is which. Or it does not matter since there is only one type of P4 or Celeron at the same GHz.

which CPU performs better at the same environment in general? Celeron or P4?

Celeron is a low-end CPU
P4 performs better
but all the CPUs you posted are pretty old
get the P4 with the highest frequency

The only place you're going to find those is on Ebay or at the Goodwill I think.

I agree with Shady. Get the higher GHz P4 with 512KB cache.

I had no idea that it was even possible. Will the performace drop since there is a extra adapter in place?

PM and Core duo is kinda expansive i don't think i will have the extra cash.

How much are the adapters? is there anytype of cheap adapter that i can use so i can just use is old P4 like something from 3GHz or over. Always to have a CPU that can reach 3GHz but for some reason the GHz just keeps getting lower with the new CPUs, guess GHz does not mean much anymore.
