I need something good for gaming I'm focused more on the mouse then keyboard since I will be playing FPS. I was thinking this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105240 or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104178 which is better. I'm not to sure about the keyboard just some good for gaming doesn't have to he great I was thinking this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175103.

This will be my first gaming keyboard and mouse since I have just started playing PC games mostly FPS and I'm starting to like the keyboard and mouse over the game pads/controllers.

doesnt matter, get whatever one you want. A keyboard is just a keyboard and more expensive ones just have more features that are all a matter of preference. I personally prefer wired (not wireless) optical mice because I got tired of changing the battery twice a week and having the wireless receiver to deal with also. I just use some generic keyboard and a Logitech M-BZ105A mouse. LOL theres no such thing as gaming mice or gaming keyboard its just a matter of them having the buttons and features setup how you want.

It does matter because I need something with good and quick DPI settings. I also need something that will slide easily and move quick. As for the keyboard it doesn't matter that much but I need a new one any ways so I'm going o get a good one.

I like the G5 but there is not much difference between it and the MX518 other then the G5 was weights. The G11 is nice but more then I won't to pay.

keep in mind, a gaming keyboard will not have a windows key and will be ergonomical and have several convenient features...

I know all about that but like I said with me Play fps I'm more worried about the mouse then the keyboard even though both are important. I will probably get the mouse first and a keyboard later.
