Which laptop is better?

Looking at buying a laptop, just wanted to know which was better. The only game I play on the computer would be The Sims 2, so I want something that can at least handle that. Which one of these would be recommended?

its a hard call; if you could upgrade the 6500's cpu to 2.0ghz, i would most definitely say go with that. as it is, im leaning towards #2.

The 1.8 only has a 2meg cache, go with the 2.0 on the second one or you can do what I'm doing, for less than 100 dollars more than the second one you can get a dell Vostro

Dell is generally viewed as being better quality than hp, and you get a far better gfx card, in addition with Vista business you won't get as much crap ware (And they look cooler than the 6000 series hp. It's your choice but I would and am going with the dell, just so you know I also customized a dv6500 and I settled on the Dell. Hope this helps.

haha, u must be new to the forum. Most people on this forum hate dell because they use low quality parts. HP on the other hand is known for using name brand stuff.
