Which laptop should I choose?

So i have the choice between two laptops:

One is a Toshiba M115-S3094:

portablility really doesn't matter cuz I'll have a acer aspire one (netbook) that goes with me everywhere... but whichever one i pick from these two will mostly stay in the dorm

If you also have a netbook, why not have a desktop in the dorm? That's what I would do.

But, between the laptops, the first one looks better because of the better processor, and I've always thought of Toshiba as a better brand than Compaq.

well i ended up with the toshiba, but becuase netbooks are very similar, which one should i go with
the acer aspire one, msi wind, or the asus eee pc?
I really like the acer, but what do you guys think? I wont post specs becuase most are the same processor, video card, etc.
