Which Laptop to Buy????

Hi all I'm hoping you can help me out.

I'm looking to get a new laptop to use for both work and home. It will primarily be for emails, Internet use and my iTunes account/music. I will however also occasionally need to view AutoCad drawings on it at work!

It will only be viewing AutoCad, it won't be used for any actual drawing or editing.

Having only a very general knowledge of laptops can anybody suggest a suitable machine?

I have been told that whatever I get it will need a minimum of an Intel 5 processor, preferably an Intel 7 processor, is this correct?

I am looking to spend in the region of £500-600, I am not overly bothered about brand etc, so long as it does what I need it to without struggling.

Any input/suggestions would be very gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

£500-600 laptop is much enough to satisfy your need, if you want to a high specs laptop, I would recommend Lenovo Y580, see this page, the price is around £520, but its specs is really great.
