Which Laptop, under £1000?

Hey guys, looking to buy a new gaming laptop (I KNOW DESKTOPS ARE BETTER)

From my research I think I've narrowed it down to two choices.

Now on the surface I thought that the dabs one was a clearly the better machine, but looking into it the i7 is at 2.2 GHZ whereas the i5 on the overclockers one is at 2.4. Also I THINK the GTX 560M on the overclockers is superior to the very new GT 635M. A weaker GPU with larger HD resolution sounds like something which would really hurt my framerates.

So which one should I go for? Or bonus prize to anyone who can find a better laptop for under £1000 from a respectable UK website. :)

Really I think that the one running the i7 will be a stronger overall system. You probably will not see that much difference between the 144 cores of the 635 and the 192 cores of the 560.
 
I agree with you but the concern I have is for the dabs laptop there is little information about the gpu because it's so new. Whereas the overclockers one has a large number of impressive reviews for both the machine and the gpu.
 
The GT630m is the same chip as the GT555m with 192 bit bus and power refinements. All reviews of the 555m will go for the 630m too.
 
The kindle is getting to be the pad of choice...outside the iPad.

Won't be long and small laptops will be the dinasours.
