Alright I'm looking for a gaming laptop that I will be bringing to college (don't tell me there is no such thing just get me the closest you can
). I'm finding that video cards are extremely complex and I'm having trouble deciding which one ones would be good for gaming. Now I'm looking at video cards that will be in laptops $1350 and less so I'm doubting I'll be able to get anything like an 8800, but could someone perhaps list some GPU's that will keep the computer snappy and at the same time run games at the highest settings (that I can expect). I've looked at the AT Radeon HD 3650 (1024mb) and the GeForce 9500gs (512mb), but I'm told these aren't very good choices. Would I be able to afford a laptop that perhaps has better cards and which ones should I be looking at.
I can't get my head around all the specs I need to keep in mind. There's the size of the card but them there's also pipelines, and the ddr2/ddr3 etc specs. I don't know which ones are important etc. So any help on this subject would be much appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.
