Which Laptop would be good?

Hello, Ive just recently been searching for a laptop that I can use for web surfing, school stuff, Macromedia flash, and some other light editers of that sort. What kind of laptop do you think I could buy that could run those programs? I was looking on ebay and I really like IBM's, t30 maybe? Would the T30 or other cheaper IBM's be good enough? Thanks
 
Any new laptop would support the minimum requirements for that game. For storage capacity you would look for one with an 80gb not mere 40gb hard drive. For gaming you would want at least 512mb while many are sold stripped down to 256mb. I don't know the specs of that laptop right off... However, to run games like that, you'll almost certainlly need some sort of decent video card. Many laptops just have intergrated chipsets rather than more dedicated ones. Otherwise, IBM laptops are very nice. My next laptop will probably be an IBM...
 
I would have to agree with The_other_one here, you will need a decent video card that can support it. WoW can be run on most new laptops today.
 
The problem with portable units for the most is capabilty limitations at times. You can easily get models with 512mb installed along with some degree of graphics capability. But for intense gaming as well as upgrading past a certain point the limits there become evident. Your concern is most likely on the hours off type of weekend-holiday type gaming where that shouldn't become the greater issue. Before deciding on any model you will more then likely have a price range in mind as well as overall capabilities. Extended service plans as well as online support is another thought to pass along.
