Hello. I am thinking of buying a new laptop, and so far feel as though my head is going to explode with all the options out there!

I have narrowed my choices down to 3 laptops. I plan to use it for email, word, picture viewing, and some use of AutoCAD. I would really appreciate any input on these 3 laptops. Thanks.

HP Pavilion DV6618 15.4" AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual Core TL-58 1.9GHz Laptop
250GB 5400RPM SATA
2GB DDR2 (Expandable to 4GB)
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M (UMA)
6-cell batt

Toshiba Satellite Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.66GHz Laptop (A200-FE2)
200GB 5400RPM
2048MB RAM
Mobile Intel GMA X3100
9-cell batt

Toshiba Satellite Intel Core2 Duo T5250 1.5GHz Laptop (A200-TJ6)
200GB/4200rpm
2 x 1GB RAM
ATI Mobile Radeon HD 2400 (w/ 128MB video memory)
9-cell batt

One More Thing...

Sorry, I forgot to mention that all 3 laptops are around the same price range (The HP is $50 less, toshibas the same)

The HP has a 512KB+512KB L2 cache

Both Toshibas have 2MB L2 cache

Thanks again, I really appreciate the help!

if you have extra money, as far as laptops go the top of the line ones are macbooks, if you dont have 2 grand to spend on a laptop that should be half that, i would say get the toshiba

The third option seems best to me. However, the 4200 RPM hard drive is a little bit of a downer, but the graphics card is better. Isn't that what you need for AutoCAD? (not sure exactly what that is). But other than that I would still go with the third. I'm not a huge HP fan either.

the 4k rpm hd with a vista will load very slow.

i'd personally go for the 3rd option and install a 7200rpm hitachi travelstar for higher performance and use that 4k drive as an external

media-wise all 3 will do the job. but the 3rd option with the faster hd would be the best with heavy duty programs

however, it's best to list all hardware. if you did i would probably go with the hp as it's known to give you the bang for the buck in terms of how much they give you. also, what's the price?
