Which laptop?!?!

I have the Inspirion 6000, it has been a good laptop so far. It will need more memory installed.I actually added 2gigs to mine.Caught it on sale at Dell.Works great for digitall pictures and surfing the net, but thats about it.If you want to play high end games, this is not the machine, at least get the dedicated graphics card, it would probably play games alot better.For the most part, I would buy another one, but I would upgrade a few things.
 
Well, which customization did you decide on? There are numerous different configs, so you can't compare them unless you specify the exact hardware you will pick.

Personally (going from the stock price/parts) the Dell looks much better.

I'm only 13 years old and I prob. won't upgrade to any parts and stuff. I would use this laptop for my projects, papers, and get and the internet as well. Which one do you think would last me longer and be still be fast over time?
 
Well no computer will ever last forever, but the Dell does have a faster processor (i think) and double the RAM if i remember correctly. I think the Dell wins hands down if you're looking at the "bare" kit for ~$750.
