Which LCD to get?

well my brothers CRT doesnt switch on so therefor he got a new screen, The Samsung Syncmaster 732NW.

Also i got a question. With my bros screen he has a native res of 1440x900 (aspect ratio 16:10)

I need lower resolutions that are at that aspect ratio, as he refuses to get a new GPU (he has the same comp as mine but stock...) and CoD4 is getting sluggish...
