I would go with the Gigabyte, just because so many people have them here and they all love them. That and they are great overclockers.

I'm sure the Asus is very good as well, but I dont have any first hand experience with it.

With Gigabyte's new F9 BIOS, it is starting to perform on par with the ASUS motherboard. Quite a few people here have Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3s here (probably over 25), so you will have more people with first-hand experience when you need to ask questions.
