Which Linux distro to go with?

I'm familiar with Linux somewhat. I've only tried Mandrake and Redhat a couple of times, and liked it very much, but with the game compatibility issues, and the fact that I didn't wanna pay for WineX or any of those API programs, I lost interest.

But now I'm interested in trying another round of Linux, and wanted to know what distribution is recommended for games and has Virtual Private Networking and is a good O/S to try.

I'd go Pclinux and Suse10.1.
there's no distro we can recommend for games, most linux distro are the same be it kde or gnome or whatever, they pretty much have the same games in their synaptic, if u talking bout windows games, now that's something else.
And about vpn i suggest you use debian or suse

I have a similar issue. I'm about to get a computer with a 250 GB HD and want to partition it for Vista (or maybe XP) and have a Linux OS on eth other drive. So I need a Linux that doesn't take up too much space. Any suggestions?
