Hello there.

So, i got this: ASRock P67 Extreme6 Sandy Bridge

ANd i need some memory to get into these. I bought some, but they were to big!

So i was wondering. Does both of these memorys fit?

Kingston

16GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x8)ValueR

Or!

Kingston

16GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x8) HyperX

Which of these is best? I'm a gamer, so i want the fastest. But i'm not sure the HyperX ones does fit, but i guess one of you out there knows :)

Hmm.

Well , i bought Kingston 16GB DDR3 2133MHz (4x4)HyperX
And they didn't fit because of they were 2133, but i just want to know. Does all 1600 mhz fit into my ASRock P67 Extreme6 Sandy Bridge? :)

It should fit fine. My extreme 4 Z77 handled 2133 speeds just fine. All you have to do is scroll down to memory in the OC tweaker and set the speed to 2133MHz and you will be fine.

No.

The 2133 mhz didn't fit in. I couldn't turn my computer on, and it doesn't say any places that my motherboard supports 2133 mhz, only 1600 and lower. But does that mean all 1600mhz fits in?

If they are DDR3 they will fit. And your board supports up to DDR3-2400 speeds. It is not that complicated. But you may have to test the memory to make sure it works. Also, if it is your memory you should get a code on the LED debug if you have one.

Wolfeking, i'm not very good at all that stuff you are talking about to be honest. Look at my signature. It anything wrong with my setup, that makes something NOT work?

When i'm looking at the motherboard on the homepage i bought it, it says.

Technologi
DDR3
Bus Clock
1600 MHz, 1333 MHz, 1066 MHz
speed
PC3-12800, PC3-10600, PC3-8500

So you got the memory sticks in the memory slots correct? Or are you saying that they just don't fit in the slots? Memory only fits one way.

Of course they fit in the slots, that's not the problem. But i got told 2133 mhz hyperx was to large mhz for my Asrock p67 extreme 6.
