Which one of these would you go with.

Toshiba S6960

I am not a gamer, but the extra hard drive capacity could come in handy, although thats easily upgraded later if needed. The more expesensive one also has an IEEE349 plug which could be useful if I had to plug in a MiniDV camcorder, which I just may.
 
I always feel that users should have two laptop batteries if they know they are not going to be near any power outlets for a long amount of time

To seal the deal, ask them to throw another battery in and you'll take it ;)

Get the one with the firewire port, its invaluable! Plus the more expensive one has a higer bus speed and you will also have (in my opinion) a better video/graphics processor with the more expensive one.

Really, the "more expensive one" is only about $100 more, so why the quandary? I'd go with the higher priced one for sure. And good pick, I think Toshiba is a good computer.
 
i like lenovo G530 i am using this model its good with nice speed other features are web cam with 2.3 mg wireless connectivity.
