Which monitor to get

Well I am deciding to splash out again on some more useless computer peripherals. This time it is a new monitor, I have decided on a 26 inch screen.

Now I must decide which one to get, after checking E-Buyer the Samsung screens look by far the best (aesthetically) and that is very important.

At the moment I have the card bellow, but in the future I am thinking of getting a card with an HDMI out, well in fact I can support full HD anyway so that is besides the point I guess.

Now should I get a monitor that is full 1080p or stick with the 720p, the monitor I am looking at is actually 1920 x 1200 ratio making it a 16:10 aspect ratio. Has anyone experience with screens like this? Does it make things look stupid full screen (like games, especially COD4)?. I will also have to wait for it as its not released.

So could someone compare these products, give their verdict and perhaps pass suggestions of their own.

That second one is diffidently better than the first. If money wasn't a factor i'd get that one for sure. Better Response Time, Better resolution.

About the aspect ratio, most video playing programs don't stretch 4:3 images unless you set them to, leaving black bars on the side so the image isn't streched. Widescreen is definitely worth it for gaming and wide screen movies though.
