that alone pretty much says go for the hann-g. also, the Hanns has a wider viewing angle (20 degrees). meaning u can view the screen from farther along the side(10 degrees on each side, farther)

display type are both WXGA but the hanns has a "+". not sure what it means, but hey... it looks cool ;)

Hanns also has anti glare (BIG PLUSS in my book!), and built in speakers. if u have a speaker system its not a big deal, but if u ever take your computer someware, having built in speakers is a real nice convenience.

hanns weighs 2.3 lbs less than the acer, @ 9.7 lbs.

so... i would say go for the Hanns-G.

p.s. some of the things i mention aren't usually a BIG deal, but when the two monitors are SO close in specs, it comes down to those small things.

GL either way.

EDIT: forgot to mention that the acer has the buttons right on the front of the monitor. i personally don't like that at all. i like them on the sides or bottom, which the Hanns-G has :D

I would suggest the Hanns G, also if you can afford the small price jump between 19" to 22" I would highly recommend.

Kent.

jethro: umm they make screens that dont have squared corners ? cause the two that i comaired are NOT square, it is a rectangle (widescreen even ;) )

lol, guess i just don't know what your talking about. care to explain... it is Friday, maybe thats why i don't get it.
