Which motherboard to get?

GA-Z68XP-UD3P. I have Gigabyte and it never fail me since one years. Very stable. One time BIOS failed but it repair itself and save my time from RMA it.

ASUS P8P67-M Pro or GA-Z68XP-UD3P?
Go for the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 actually. The Z68 is a versatile chipset supporting the onboard graphics and Crossfire as well as SLI and the ASUS boards are good, so that would be my recommendation. The GEN3 has PCI Express 3.0 support although at the moment the current Intel CPUs don't support it, the Ivy-Bridge chips will and they will work with a Z68 board.

Of the two you posted, go for the Gigabyte because it has the Z68 chipset which supports Crossfire as well as SLI. If you're certain you're only going to be using Crossfire and you don't need the onboard graphics, the P67 boards are a good choice. The P67 boards should also support Ivy-Bridge.

Some motherboard with P67 chipset can also use SLI.

What about GA-Z68XP-UD3 though?
It's a good board, go ahead and get it, you won't regret it. :)

Some are limited to only Crossfire, whereas all Z68 boards should be able to do Crossfire and SLI. But you are right some (in fact the majority I'd say) of P67 boards can do both.
