If you don't mind MIR, ASUS P5Q SE/R @ $88 is another good choice

Killing for an $80 motherboard? yikes...

Anyway, I'm starting to lean towards the Gigabyte because of the 8 USB ports, 4 pci-e x1 slots, and the fact that it's the cheapest before rebate. However, if your going to need a bunch of ye' old pci slots, go with the Asus or MSI.

Well, im working part time, and going to college. So yeah... Times are pretty tough for me right now. Once I get out of college expect to see a beast system

well since its for your dad, and hes probably not going to be Gaming that hard, you don't have to go all-out. Why not just buy this
