My eyes are on these two:
ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Atom 1.6GHz 10" Netbook
ASUS Eee PC 1001P-PU17-PI Rose Pink Intel Atom N450(1.66GHz) 10.1" WSVGA 1GB Memory 250GB HDD

Which one is a good buy?

Between those, the N450 without a doubt. However, I'd also consider spending a bit more and looking into something a bit more stout. An SU4100 based laptop (or even whatever the single-core version is) is quite a bit more powerful than most Atom based processors, typically has a much higher screen resolution, and is just more usable. When I had my Aspire One, I was always working around stuff because it was under-powered. With my Toshiba (SU4100 based) most everything works fine on it. Flash sites, HD videos etc.

The Second one...although personally i wouldnt choose pink :D

Have you considred the Lenovo S10 Series?...theyre realy good netbooks.

Has the Atom N270 and im sure theres an Atom N280 model too, although im not sure what the performance diffrence would be between those i mentioned and that Atom in the pink netbook you posted.

I'm purchasing a netbook for work and will primarily use it for reading PDF files and powerpoint presentations. Can anyone suggest the best screen in the market and overall features I should look for. thx in advance

The best screen in a netbook? I'm going to guess that either Asus or Dell claim that prize. You're not going to get hue resolution with a 10" screen no matter what you do, though...maybe with Asus's 12" model, but that's nearly $500. It is really powerful though...it has an Atom N330(dual core) and Nvidia ION graphics.

glad to hear that. my kids just ordered an N450 for my birthday. won't get it till 4/2.

sweeet..........

I think that the second option is better for you. Its design is stylish. The size is perfect for travel. Even though the display has a higher resolution would be nice to define standards for basic things like browsing the Internet.
