The larger monitor is nice if it fits the pocket book. you will be making a good choice there. I have a samsung digital SyncMaster which i like but its used mostly for editing pictures with a nikon coolscan. 24" will be next on my list.

Im curious to know what kind of prices you been getting for these monitors your interested in?
Well, It really depends on alot of things, how much you want to pay, how much performance you want, etc... Something that has higher contrast ratio, faster response time, more colors, DVI, is going to better then your average LCD monitor. I would get something under 5ms response time, and over 500:1 contrast ratio, and 16.9 million colors, and DVI, (If your video card supports it)
