The E6420 would be better.

They are exactly the same, except the E6420 has 4MB of Cache, while the E6400 only has 2MB.

I need a Motherboard with Both AGP x8 and a PCI-e slot and also a few standard PCI slots with DDR 2 RAM. I was pointed to this board as it did all this plus supports Core 2 duo Are there any better ones you know of?

Oh, well if you need the AGP for a while, then its a great AGP/PCI-E board. I had the ASRock Dual-VSTA (similar to yours, but no quad support). Worked great, especially for the price, but horrible overclocking.

Yeah, Those CPU's would work with that motherboard, doesn't look like a bad board either, my friends thinking of getting it, he's in the same situation as you
