Which one for my budget build?

ok i been asking alot of questions lately but well better now than never :P ...

i have a Foxconn 590sli mobo and im trying to decide on a 4800+ Brisbane for $130, a 5200+ for $170, or a 5600+ for $180....of course i like the $130 price but as far as oc ability and performance wise what would you suggest?
 
For a mere $10 more, id go with the 5600. The 4800 appears to only have 1mb of cache while the 5200 has 2mb, and since the 5600 is only $10 id get that. But of course you could always OC the 5200 to equal and outperform the 5600....

I still recommend the 5600.
 
i would realy like to go with the 4800 because of the price tag, but you dont this the cache would hurt me do ya?
 
The Cachae would affect your performance, i would personally go with the 5600, there doesnt seem to be any point of putting the 5200 up as it is a mere $10 for the much better version, most people will probably tell you to go with that :) (Apart from maroon1 because he likes to be dfferent :))

yeah so true, i think i can find a way to dish out another $50 for the 5600+ :) ...
 
Whats the Windsor 4800 clocked at? i think i ready some were that the brisbane was clock a littler higher than the windsor...but im not sure, i would love to go with the 4800 because of price but will i be regretting it later down the road? :(

The reason is, your link has the 4600 vs. the 4800 at the same clock rate, the 5600 kicks its butt, but then again you could overclock the 4800 and the 5600 is almost at its limit. If you just want to run them at stock speed I would rather have the 5600. The 65nm right now with AMD, it makes no difference in preformance, unless just sayin its a 65nm processor seems to make it go faster.

One more question, I think im ganna go with the 4800...you don't think it would be the bottleneck if i got something like the 8800?
