Which one is better to do?

Ok so i have been having problems with my Old HDD that i put into my new computer. My new MOBO only has one IDE plug and like 4 SATA plugs and my dvd burner and HDD are both IDE and they dont work if i plug them in Together like on the same IDE cable. So Should i buy a New HDD with a SATA connector like this one:

Or should i buy this PCI card and use my old HDD:

OR this one because its cheap and i only need 1more IDE connector for Either the Old HDD or DVD burner:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815263004

Any suggestions on what i should do?

You don't need two port for two device. One IDE cable link two devies to one port...

Usually HDD as Master, Burner as Slave.

It work work, ive tryed it,... it will reconize my HDD only if both r pluged in,... if only dvd burner it only reconizes that, if only hdd it only reconizes that, if both plugged in only HDD,.... so i donno what to do :-/ i think ima just go with a new HDD

Did you set jumper?

SATA don't use jumpers. Just numbers. SATA0 = Master... ect...

ATA have little pins and little "connector" things that "short" 2 wires...
