I made 2 rigs for my Friend and I wanted your reviews on it
the 2 machines have an approx budget of 1500 bux so please comment

The AMD machine is 1495 bux and the i7 machine is 1548 bux

I think the AMD machine will work better .
She will be using it for everything word processing gaming internet 3d max and a bit of amateur photoshop and flash
Please comment on the overall performance not only on gaming.

She needs a good computer as she will be using it for quite a long time

The i7 of course, but if this is going to be used as a main computer a velociraptor is definately not necessary, and would be better to go with soemthing along the lines of a 1.5TB Western Digital Caviar green line of drive such as this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136351

And then also the motherboard i would go for something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186169

Also, go with this gpu:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130475

And that 24" monitor isnt worth the extra over a 23.6" for just 0.4" and 120 more lines of resoloution, go for this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052

And if there is room in the budget, after rebates this power supply is only $10 more and would provide even more future proofing:

Change these and you should come in under budget somewhat, and end up with much better bang for the buck;)

8gb of slower ddr2 ram, and at the moment the GTX 275 should cut through most games pretty easily. As you said this rig is used for many purposes, many purposes, so you would want a higher powered rig such as the i7, and if you recalculate with the list of suggested changes i put up there, there is probably enough excess budget to toss in another 6gb kit of memory for 12gb;)

OK thanx but only for gaming if we leave the other purposes like photoshop and everything else which one will be betterbecause i will have to give her detailed explanation of both the machines so

All-Purpose i7
but only gaming which rig

and foxconn no available in UAEonly asus and gigabyte and intel so.....

For only gaming... thats a tough call, for higher res i would put my bets on the amd,but only in the near future. As you have room for expandability with the intel rig by tossing in another gtx275. With the crossfired 4870's, you have almost no options but adding in a new gpu (eg, 5xxx series when it comes out).

well if she chooses the i7 how dare i reject your suggestion lol
i will recomend her gtx 275 only

Lol, the gtx 275 is middle ground between the 260 and 285, 240 shaders (same as 285), but the same ROP's as the 260, but at higher resoloutions the 1792mb version(when they become available) of the 275 will probably outperform a single 285(at super high res though) making it the best bang for the buck at the moment;)
