Which one to go for?

Hey,

I'm trying to decide between these two GPU's
Which one do you think?

Also, I have noticed that one of them doesn't have a connector for the blue cable off my monitor, How would I plug it in?

How much does X1950Pro ? if it doesn't cost a lot then get it, otherwise get 7600GT or 7900GS

I just found out I would need a DVI to VGA adaptor, would the card come with one of these and would it effect performance?

it wouldn't effect preformance at all. Personally i'd stick with ur X850 pro for about another month or so, and then get the 8600GS.

It'll take me about 3 months to save up so I'm ok there

and Core 2 Duo prices will of come down.

How much will it be, I'm pushing it a bit to get the cards I'm looking at now.

EDIT: if I bought a card would it come with the adaptor?

Most do, I think all of the ones I have bought have 1 sometimes 2 but that not a guarantee!

I think all except OEM come with an adapter. Might be a requirement, I've never seen one without an adapter.

I'd go with XFX, if you look in the specifications, and compare, the XFX is better, and faster. Not by much, but it is. I've also had better experience with XFX, I've heard some bad things about Novatech.

Ah, okay, I wasn't too sure, I've just seen some bad reviews.

I would go with the 1950.

Go with the XFX. It's also slightly overclocked by default.
