Which one would be better

OK so I'm buying a PSU,CPU Cooler, and RAM I already have my PSU picked out and need a little bit of help choosing my RAM and CPU cooler.

Here is what I have picked for the RAM

Out of those which one should I get I like the OCZ but I'm a little worried about the tall heatsinks.

Which one of these CPU coolers is better

Keep in mind that if you make recommendations for another CPU cooler that it can only be about 5.3" tall max and 4" wide max because of my case and motherboard.

Also My budget for everything is around $140 but that is stretchable the PSU is $70 so that leaves me another $70 for the Cooler and RAM.

Also one more question I currently have 1 2GB stick of RAM and planning on getting another 4GB If I'm correct then I can not use all 6GB right. If I where to get say 2x1GB then I could still use the other stick of 2GB. The only problem I have with that is the 2GB stick I have is suppose to run at 800MHz but is only running at 400MHz so if I where to get 2X1GB then they would also run at 400MHz correct. I'm a little confused here. I've been building computers for 2 years now but for some reason I just can't decide what would be best for the money. I've pretty much worked with Intel most of those 2 years but have recently switched to AMD because of there pricing and I don't regret it one bit. With Intel coming out with all the new CPUs and Socket types I wouldn't buy an Intel at this point in time anyway.

Edit: I think I might skip on the CPU cooler for now I don't plan on overclocking any time soon so there is no point in me getting right now. I'm just going to go for the RAM and PSU. So would anybody give me some recommendations for some RAM and a PSU. I don't need a top of the line PSU just something that will power a 4870 and last me until I get my new computer built in a couple of months.

Ok, first off. I would recommend going with Corsair over OCZ. A lot of my friends use Corsair and they've never had a problem with it. My brother had a Corsair stick of RAM (I don't know the GB) for 4-6 years and he has never had a problem with the company. Every once in a while you will get a faulty one, but still; Corsair has never let me down.

And for the PSU, make sure you picked it out according to your needs. You do not want to over work a PSU or get something that has low watt volume for what you're going to be doing with your computer and/or if your going to install new hardware on your rig.

If you do buy a new heatsink, keep in mind that when you install the new heatsink it automatically voids your processors warranty with the company; so if anything happens, you will not be able to return it. OC-ing the cpu will not void it, but I wouldn't recommend you OC-ing it on a stock heatsink.

As for the memory, XP will not recognize anything over 3.25GB of RAM, so it would be a waste just FYI. You can have 6GB of RAM on it (If you have enough slots on your mobo), there wouldn't really be any reason why you couldn't have 6GB of RAM
ON THE OTHER HAND, do NOT cross match MHz frequency on RAM. That is a no no. If you do, then you run a high risk of hardware failure/malfunction/fried mobo/components and, of course, fried RAM. Oh, and hardware crashes (which is pretty much everything I just explained). Things just have a way of not working if you do that.
If you were to do that, the 400MHz sticks would force the 800MHz stick to run at its speed; 400MHz, which then leads to failure.

Hope that answers your question. I'm hear to answer any more questions :)
