Which monitor would you get? And why?

If you don't like them, please explain why, and if you can, give me an alternative/better place to buy one.

Thanks guys.

Keep in mind that I will be getting a new computer soon, so I will be doing high-resolution computer gaming, I want to play my xbox 360 on it in HD, and I want to watch movies/tv in it in HD.

Also, what's the most important factor in choosing a monitor? Is it the contrast ratio, pixel pitch, refresh rate, response time, etc?

Out of those, I'd get the Hanns·G HG-281DPB for $489.

Here's why:

Lowest cost

comparable spec's to the other two

The more expensive Hanns-G monitor looks like it has a couple extra features, but not really worth it for the $90 extra you'll have to shell out, unless height + swivel is a priority. Also does your Xbox 360 have an HDMI connector on it? If it doesn't then go with the Viewsonic monitor because it has those extra connections on it (component + s-video).

Go with the $489 Hanns-G IF you are sure your 360 has the HDMI output on it. If you have an older 360 with component then go with the Viewsonic.

My 360 doesn't have the HDMI input on it. Maybe I could trade it in for one with an HDMI input.

Even if I did that, how would I hook up the monitor so I could watch HDTV on it?
