no if you look at that link i put up its all the EVGA

most of those are at 500MHz core clcok while the MSI is at 450MHz core clock. also there is one on there is is overclcoked to 580Mhz core clock

but i think im going for the one of $269 ($239 w/MIR

The problem often seen is that whether it is an NVidia or ATI model when you go after core speed alone you lose on the pixel pipelines seen on other models. The card here only has four. When looking over the older Radeon X700 after getting the X1300 Pro both worlds were seen when that card featured 12. Live and Learn! Fortunately this case will be retired in about 7-8 months. It's a little overdue now. :P

well all the cards on the list have 24 pixelpipelines and a core clock speed of 450 MHz, 500 MHz, 580 MHz, i think

well only two are out of stock and they have an Auto-Notify button for them

besides the one i choose is in stock and it seems good

doesnt it

yeah but i dont wanna spend over 300 on a card

i would like one $100 cheaper than at around $250 or $260 which all of those are around

I've seen great results with the MSI X1300 Pro recently bought from newegg at just under $80-. You can find some good models for under the $100- price tag easy enough without having the fastest core speed or the most pipelines and still see good results. On many occasions the hype sells the higher end cards that are also high priced being the newest model out. I heard some good reports from those using the ATI X850 for Half Life 2 and others games.

Finding the right combination of hardwares and softwares on a system usually sees the best results. Some boards work better with ATI cards while others depend on NVidia for that. People seeing Catalyst problems would want to look over NVidia driven models there. Reviews are often based on OC results. On the last board here I ran without the Cat for the Control Panel option on an older update for the ATI card. The Radeon 9550 256mb AGP card was proceeded by two different NVidia driven cards, one by Asus in use in another case and a 128mb MSI model still around here somewhere. If you have a certain model card chosen try running a search at shopping.com, nextag, dealtime, or another engine that will list and compare prices at various vendors. You find a better deal at another vendor. There are also other brands to go throgh just at newegg.
