Which operating system is best?

Hi friends, I am confused about operating system. I don't know which operating system is best for internet using. Can any one tell me about this?
 
Windows 7 Home Premium is best for the home user, Windows 7 Professional is best for the computer enthusiast.

You can get on the Internet just fine with Windows 98. (not telling you to buy windows 98) Need to have more info. then just wanting to get on the internet. But if your buying a new operating system now, in general get Windows Vista or 7. Need to know what kind of system you have.
