celreon processors failed the initial test Intel put them through. These should be avoided at all cost.
Atom processors are low power, low heat, low speed, used mainly in netbooks
Intel Core and more recently i3, i5, and i7 processors are Intel's top of the line. I would avoid a core processor and go for the i3, as there really isn't much difference in cost at this point.
