Which Processor???

Hi!

Which processor is recommended for me to use and why?

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 5000+ - Socket AM2
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 Dual Core Processor(2.40GHz,4MB Cache,1066MHz)

I have narrowed my choices down and bumped my budget up a bit and lowered my hard disk sothat I can afford one of these two. But which ???

Everyone is going to say the Conroe, and even though im an AMD junkie myself, i would have to agree. Its cheaper, and can be OCed to unimaginable levels, apparently.

OCed is compspeak for overclocked, which is pretty much making the processor faster than it was built.
