Which projector ?

Hi i am new here so sorry if i have put this in the wrong place

I am looking to buy a projector but do not know what to get. I want one that is portable and of good quality and am looking to spend £500-600

Can any one suggest any thing :confused:
 
It's about $900 - $1400. As far as a brand name Epson, NEC and Toshiba make some pretty good projectors. Overall, there are a few things to look for with projectors. Obviously the size and weight if you are concerned with portability, and the options it looks like it has for focusing, image adjustment, etc. Furthermore, the more contrast ratio and ANSI lumens the better, a decent ANSI rating is around 1600, but some go up to 2000. This basically is the brightness intensity of the projector, and a higher lumen rating helps to see the image better in a room that has a lot of ambient light...

What are you doing with this projextor?gaming? movies? or just as a screen replacement? if its the latter, then you can get a cheaper one.
