Which Radeon to buy

Hello,

Which graphics processor would you recommend.
Either Radeon 3870X2 with 1GB mem. Or Radeon 4870X2 with 2GB mem but double the price.

Do you think that the price of the 4870X2 is going to fall so that its better to get now 3870X2 and after a while buy the better one once the price gets low?

Lol, I would assume gaming.

I would buy the 4870x2 now if you have the money. No point in buying the 3870x2 now and then upgrading to the 4870x2 later.

Well I would like to enjoy some good graphic but I am not the one who sits whole night by the screen playing games.

I am just afraid that I buy now the 4870X2 and the price will be half in next 3 months...

I know what you mean. Often, whenever I buy something it will drop in price very quickly. I haven't purchased a 4870X2 yet though, so maybe the price will hold steady for you.

I would need to see some revue of graphics technology developement in near future. If ATI is gonna procude a new maybe 5000 series I should wait.

I gotta research. If you know some place to start with please share
