Which Ram?

Hello all,
i'm buying some ram, it's so cheap right now. What would be better, 8gigs at 667mhz or 4gigs at 887mhz...My board will support both....thanks

Go with 4 Gigs, regardless. 8 Gigs is just overkill and utterly useless.

an are u sure the speed is 887 MHz an not just 800MHz

Most welcome. And for the record, even 4 Gigs is overkill for most folks. A good 2 Gigs will support all but gamers and extreme multi-taskers. 3+ Gigs is nice to have, but there comes a point of diminishing returns

Before deciding, take a look at your OS. Not all Windows(if that's what you're using) supports over 4 GB of RAM.
