Which Router to buy?

Hey everyone,

Looking for a new wireless N router (backwards compatible with G, aswell) At the moment we're currently running a wireless G modem/router that came with the plan a few years back that just isn't cutting it in online gaming, and since I'm downloading a lot of large files I want to be getting the best speeds possible. The router needs to be compatible with Cable and preferably Plug N' Play. Looking to purchase from eBay Australia or any other reputable Oz website that supports PayPal.

Anything else you need to know please ask.

Any router, really, will do the job fine for what you're describing. If you live in a smaller house, such as a one story apartment, mid-size house, or even a mid-size 2 story, any router in the $70 range will do fine. Any brand, as well, will work fine for you. All N routers are backwards compatible with G.

Just beware of fanboys, who take loyalty to one brand, as this isn't a very effective way of finding the router you need, and may severly limit the features and deals you want in the router.
