which search engine?

hey everyone. i normally use google as my homepage to search things. but i remember when i was younger in school. we would always use dogpile. and now that im older and can actually read i noticed a number in the top right corner. aparently the more people search on the site they donate more money to animl shelters. I dont know about you guys but that is reason enough for me to switch over. but my question is is there really a differnece in the engine you use to search things?? thanks for reading! Also im geting a dog from a shelter so it kinda hits home for me. thats why i posted this in the first place ^_^

My mother uses GoodSearch because you can choose a charity and it will donate money to the selected charity every time you search.

ya thats what im talking about. To me that is a really good thing. especially since i search ALOT. it just so happens that im all for animals so i use dogpile hahha
